Rickey Duhon

Rickey Duhon, 66, of Lake Charles, passed away peacefully on Saturday February 27, 2021 at a Jennings care facility after an extended illness.

Rickey was a native of Creole and a longtime resident of Lake Charles. He was a graduate of South Cameron High School and obtained an Associate Degree in both Television Repair and Culinary Arts from SOWELA. Rickey was a kind-hearted soul who had a great love for Jesus and a passion for cooking.

Preceding Ricky in death are his parents, Thomas and Bertha Boudion Duhon and beloved wife Deborah Sonnier Duhon. He leaves to mourn his death and cherish his memory, his brothers, Tony Duhon and wife Rhonda, Creole and Glenn Duhon, Jennings; children of the heart, Carl Pierce and wife Suzy, LeBleu Settlement and Jennifer Pierce, Lake Charles; grandchildren, Brady and Abby Pierce as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

Graveside services will be at 3:00 PM on Thursday March 4, 2021 at Old Ritchie Cemetery in Moss Bluff with Pastor Gary Evers officiating. Burial will be alongside his beloved wife.
