Rita Borel Ewing

Rita Ewing, 88, of Sulphur passed away on December 21, 2011 in a local hospital. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 23, 2011 at 3 p.m. at Robison Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Johnny Mounce officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday, December 23, 2011 at Robison Funeral Home Chapel from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. with a rosary at 1 p.m. Graveside services will be in Big Woods Cemetery at 3 p.m. Rita was a native of Cypremont and a longtime Sulphur resident. She was a homemaker and member of Our Lady of LaSalette Catholic Church. Rita is survived by her four sons, Eddie Ewing, Jr. and wife, Henrietta Estelle of Sulphur, Billy Gene Ewing and wife, Tara of Moss Bluff, Ted James Ewing and wife, Cindy of Westlake and Jack Ewing of Sulphur, two daughters, Jane Dutil and husband, Shelton of Delcambre and Joan Duprey of Sulphur, 13 grandchildren, 21 great children, 1 great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Ewing, Sr. and daughter, Cathy Caldwell.
