Rita Taylor

Rita Taylor, 85, passed away on September 27, 2014. Services will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2014 at 10 am at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Sulphur. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Deridder, LA under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at the funeral home from 5-9 pm and resume on Thursday from 8-9:30 am at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Rita loved to dance and play scrabble. She also loved family gatherings. Rita is survived by her sons, Steve (Terri Beth) Shook and Gary (Vicki) Shook; grandchildren, Ryan Shook, Stephanie (Chase) White, Taylor (Erin) Shook, Garrett Shook and Brittany (Scott) Mitchell; and great grandchildren on the way, baby White and baby Mitchell. Rita was preceded in death by her parents; first husband Jack Shook and second husband, Bill Taylor; 3 brothers; and 1 sister.
