Robbie Ann Hargrove

Robbie Ann Gardner Hargrove, 62, of Sulphur, LA, died at 5:50 PM on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 in a local hospital.

Robbie was born October 18, 1955 in Lake Charles, LA, and has lived most of her life in Sulphur, LA. She was a 1974 graduate of Sulphur High School and received a degree in Accounting from Delta Tech. She worked for AAA Railroad Transportation Company for a number of years. She enjoyed crocheting, playing card games, fishing, crabbing and loved to watch wrestling. Robbie also loved to sing and play the guitar and was a member of several bands during her younger years. She loved life, loved to laugh, and will be missed dearly.

Robbie is survived by her daughters, Jana Trahan and Sarah Bushnell (Jim), all of Sulphur; siblings, Sheryl Ortego, Steven Gardner, Karen Franklin, Myra Culter, Kenneth Gardner, James Higginbotham, Dwayne Higginbotham, and Brent Gardner; and her grandchildren, Zach, Josh, Jennifer, Jordan, Makaila, and Bryce.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Marilyn Higginbotham; and son, Allen Gardner.

Her cremation was entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home. The family will have a private service at a later date.
