Robert Alan Phillips

Robert Alan Phillips, 54, of Lake Charles, died at 2:58 AM Sunday, October 07, 2012 in his residence.

Mr. Phillips was born on March 27, 1958 to the parents of Barbara and Richard Phillips. He was a 1975 graduate of Robinson High School in Tampa, Florida where he lived prior to moving back to Lake Charles. While living in Tampa he was employed at Pantograms as a Service Representative. After moving back to Lake Charles, he worked at Lake Charles Truck Equipment Inc. as a delivery driver and also worked in the warehouse. In his spare time he loved to draw, sing karaoke, and watch science fiction movies.

He is survived by one brother; Richard Phillips Jr. and his wife Debbie of Gilroy, CA, three sisters; Margie Collins and her husband John of LeBleu, Jane Griffith and husband Steve of Houston, TX, and Suzanne Trosclair and fiance'e Chris Clinkscales of Tomball, TX, numerous nieces and nephews Robin Theriot(Sidney), Lisette Sampson (Gordon), Gena Marks, Brian Popiel (Michele) Christopher LaFleur and fiancee Adrienne Jones , Ryan Phillips(Stephanie), Justin Phillips(Adriana), 12 great nieces and nephews, and childhood friends; Robert Coleman, Byron Gurlen and Greg Morrison.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 11, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd. Rev. Jack Myers will officiate. Visitation will begin at 10:30 AM on Thursday until the time of services.
