Robert Bob P. Beglis

Robert P. "Bob" Beglis died at 1:50 PM Sunday October 23, 2011 in his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was a native of Sulphur and a resident of Lake Charles.

He served three years in the Army, returning to Lake Charles. He worked at Recreation Lanes three years, Bowlarena and Sports Center for 28 years and recently retired from Petro Bowl.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, bowling, and playing golf. He was a member and Marshal at Pine Shadows Golf Course and a member at Mallard Cove Golf Course.

He is survived by his loving wife Betty Fuselier Beglis of Elton; two son: Richard Beglis and wife Dina of Crowley, La. and Michael Beglis and wife Cynthia of Lake Charles; and four grandchildren: Jason, Amy, Seth, and Paul Michael Beglis.

Funeral Services will be held at Johnson Funeral Home Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at 10 AM. Visitation will be from 5 till 9 PM Tuesday.
