Robert “Bobby” James Couvillion, 56, of Lake Charles, passed away Monday, February 26, 2024, at his home surrounded by his loving family. A native and lifelong resident of Lake Charles, Bobby was born March 6, 1967, to Jim and Lois Couvillion.
Bobby was a 1985 graduate of LaGrange High School. After graduation, he accomplished a 30 plus year career in industrial sales, fulfilling his passion for creative problem solving with customers in SW Louisiana and SE Texas. Bobby enjoyed spending time outdoors and jumped at any opportunity to fish for speckled trout and redfish. Bobby took family and quality time seriously and participated in any games, dancing, or other entertainment that was available. Bobby was creative; he enjoyed drawing, building, and various genres of music. Bobby was active in his church, serving as a greeter, an usher, security, and occasionally singing in a choir. On most Sundays, you could find Bobby at the church doors shaking hands with a smiling face.
