How you began to say what we have all lost. “Truly He was one of a kind in many ways.” Bobby was born in Baton Rouge, LA to John and Sally Coontz, who have proceeded him in death, as well as his older sister, Donna Coontz. He is survived by his brother, David Alan Coontz of Sulphur; his sister, Sally “Missy” Coontz of Collinsville, OK; his nephews, Blane Coontz and Jonathan Bush; his nieces, Alecia Henry and Michelle Olsen; and several great nieces and nephews.
Bobby loved his country living, his pets, his Harleys, his family and friends. His laissez faire for attitude towards life afforded him many friends and countless acquaintances. He was known to do it the “Bobby Way.” His deep love of music helped him to find his path in life. Often following the words of his favorite musical artist, Delbert McClinton, “It ain’t what you eat, but the way how you chew it”.
