Robert Bruce Law

Robert Bruce Law, 60, of Sulphur, LA passed away Wednesday, October 03, 2012 at MD Anderson hospital in Houston.

Mr. Law was born, raised and educated in Baton Rouge, LA. He was a graduate of Baton Rouge High School and Louisiana State University where he attained a Bachelor Degree in Construction Technology. He was the Owner and Manager of Quality Construction Specialist, Inc. and Outlaw Outdoors.

Mr. Law was a member of SWLA Rifle and Pistol Club, Inc., NRA, SCI and TCA. He was an avid gun collector, enjoyed hunting, traveling, teaching grandchildren to hunt, reloading ammo, and sitting around the campfire with family and friends enjoying a fine scotch. He was also an avid LSU and Saints fan. His greatest times were shared with gatherings of family and friends cooking, grilling and sitting on the back porch.

He leaves to honor his memory, his loving wife of twenty years, Janice Miles Law of Sulphur; four children, Brandy Willis Mote and husband Kelvin of Omaha, NE, Jennifer Law Hicks and husband Beau and Tiffany Willis Thornton and husband Jimmy, of Moss Bluff and Robert Brian Law of New York, NY; eleven grandchildren; his mother, Joyce Hoell Larsen of Sulphur; one brother, Robert Dan Law, III and wife Erica of Baton Rouge and many close friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Dan Law, Jr.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, October 06, 2012 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Monsignor Charles Dubois will officiate. Interment will follow in Mimosa Pines Cemetery, North. Visitation Friday will be from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a rosary beginning at 6:00 PM. Visitation Saturday will continue from 8:00 AM until the time of service in the funeral home.
