Robert "Gerald" LeBoeuf, 77, of Lake Charles, formerly of Cameron, passed away on Sunday June 28, 2015 at a local hospital after an extended illness. Gerald was a native of Creole and lived in Cameron most his life until Hurricane Rita. He retired as a Senior Drilling Foreman with Conoco after 28 years of service. He enjoyed working cows and hunting ducks. A third degree Knight of Columbus, Gerald was a member of Our Lady Star of the Sea. Preceding Gerald in death are his parents, Robert and Azina LaBove LeBoeuf; beloved wife, Myra LeBoeuf; two children, Robert, Jr. and infant daughter. He is survived by his sons, Eric LeBoeuf and wife Denise,, Grand Lake and Jeffery LeBoeuf and wife Carla, Lake Charles; brother, Sherman LeBoeuf and wife Anita, Spring, TX; grandchildren, Nicholas, Sammie, Kasey, Jami, Mica, and Sydney LeBoeuf and Nicholas and Clay Whitaker; great grandchildren, Maximus, Lily and Bree LeBoeuf, and a niece, Heather LeBoeuf as well as a host of extended family and friends. Visitation began Monday at 4:00 PM with a Rosary having been recited at 6:00 PM. Visitation will continue today at Johnson Funeral Home until 11:30AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be observed at 1:00 PM Today, Tuesday June 30, 2015 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Cameron. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
