Robert J. "Bobby" Fontenot

Robert J. (Bobby) Fontenot passed away Tuesday morning in a local care facility.

He is survived by his wife Beverly of Moss Bluff, his daughter, Lisa Fontenot-Owens (Thomas) and son, Chris Fontenot (Kandi) all of Moss Bluff; four grandchildren, Ryan Chesson (Kristain), Mylah Owens, Masyn Fontenot, and Brynlee Fontenot; two great grandchildren, Carter and Cannon Chesson all of Moss Bluff. He also leaves behind his brother, Carl Fontenot (Debbie) and sisters, Linda Landry and Cynthia Clostio (Bob) all of Lake Charles; several nieces and nephews; and uncle Davis Deville of Texas.

Robert was a member of Local 798 and Local 106 Plumbers and Steam Fitters. He was preceded in death by his father, Rodney Fontenot and his mother, Verna Soileau. Also, a grandson, Thomas Tre Owens, III.

Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
