Robert L. Duhon

Robert L. Duhon, 66, of Westlake, LA died at 7:30 AM Friday, March 18, 2016 in a local hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Robert was born on September 18, 1949 in Fenton, LA to Woodrow and Sina Duhon. He lived in Westlake, LA for the past 16 years. Robert was a graduate of Katie B. Thomas High School in Elton, LA. He proudly served our country in the U.S Air force from 1971 until 1975 he also served in Vietnam Era. Robert worked as a pipe fitter for local # 106 for 18 years and a member of Glad Tidings Assembly of God. He loved to collect and repair guns and deer hunting.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 16 years, Jeanette Allison Duhon of Westlake, LA; one daughter, Jessica Duhon Palmer of CA; step children, Kevin Clophus of Westlake, LA and Cory Clophus of Lake Charles, LA; father, Woodrow Duhon Sr. of Fenton, LA; brothers, Jerry Duhon and wife Jessica of Fenton, LA, Woodrow Duhon Jr. of CA, Harold Duhon and wife JB of Lake Charles, LA, and Walter Duhon and wife Connie of Fenton, LA; one sister, Carla Ann Goodley and husband Walter of Lake Charles, LA; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his mother.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at Johnson Funeral Home. Burial will be at Perkins Cemetery in Westlake, LA. Pastor Gary Evers will officiate.
