Robert Lee Foreman

Robert Lee Foreman, 65, of Gillis passed away, Saturday, April 18, 2015 in a local healthcare facility. Mr. Foreman was born in Bayou Chicot, raised in Turkey Creek and has lived nearly forty-five years in the Gillis and Topsy area. He worked most of his life in the Oil Field, having retired a Sales Representative. He enjoyed working in his yard, gardening and was especially proud of his fruit trees and Pecan orchard. Mr. Foreman enjoyed spending time with his friends, cooking out and riding his Harley. He was a member of HOGS of Lake Charles. He leaves to honor his memory, one daughter, Bridget Marie Foreman; son-in-law, Nicholas Laughlin and two grandchildren, Kensley and Kadin Saloom, all of Gillis; one brother, Rodney Foreman of Turkey Creek and one sister, Diane Clark of Alexandria. He also leaves nieces and nephews from the Lake Charles and surrounding area. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eva "Tootsie" Leger Foreman; parents, Leslie and Lillie Mae Foreman; one brother, Leslie Foreman, Jr. and one sister, Deloris Foreman. In respect of Mr. Foreman's wishes, Memorial services were a private family gathering.
