Robert Lennon Lane

Robert Lennon Lane, 59, passed away on January 7, 2018 in the comfort of his home.

Robert was born and lived most of his life in Sweetwater, TX. He attended Sweetwater High School and Champion Baptist Church. He served his country for six years in the United States Navy. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was also an accomplished artist. His family fondly remembers his free spirit and how he loved to make people laugh.

He leaves behind his wife of nearly 32 years, Oweda Lane; son Robert Lane Jr. and wife Kimberly; grandchild, Aurora Lane; brother, Bill Lane and wife Robin; and sister Judy Banks and husband Wayne.

He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Billie Lane; son, Lennon Everett Lane; and brother, Jim Lane.
