Robert "Randy" Martin

Robert “Randy” Martin, 71, of Leesville, LA, died at 3:40 PM on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 in a local hospital.

Mr. Martin retired with over forty years of service from W. R. Grace in Sulphur, LA, ending up as an instrument technician. He held a position in both the credit union and the labor union. He also taught instrumentation at the trade school in Oakdale.

Randy is survived by his wife, Veda D. Martin of Leesville, LA; son, Robert W. Martin and wife Melissa, ob Amarillo, TX; step-son, Gabriel Paolo Abarrientos; brother, George Martin and wife June of Virginia; and two granddaughters, Samantha and Abigail.

His funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Weldon Bares will officiate. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the start of the service.
