Robert "Bob" Reed

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert "Bob" Clifton Reed, a cherished father, and friend. Robert, known simply as Bob to those who loved him, was born on May 8, 1953, in Henderson, KY and spent his final days in Ragley, LA. He left us on April 23, 2025, at the age of 71.

Bob was a quiet man with a huge heart, always ready to lend a hand to those in need. He would truly give the shirt off his back and asked for nothing in return. While he preferred to keep to himself, those closest to him knew the real Bob - a caring, skilled carpenter and construction worker with an undeniable work ethic. He built his own In - laws' house and renovated a trailer for his beloved daughter, Melissa. He truly was a jack of all trades. Except when it came to plumbing! In his spare time, you could guarantee to find Bob with a rod and reel in hand. He loved spending time on the water and in the great outdoors.

He was a Crew Foreman at Greenberry Industrial, earning the respect of his peers in the construction industry. Bob will be deeply missed by those who had the honor of walking through life with him.

Bob is survived by his partner of thirteen years Dianna LaCombe; his beloved daughter, Melissa Kohler, and son-in-law, Michael Miller. His grandsons Kayden Oliver and Grayson Kohler; His brother, Tom Reed, and sister, Suzy Pittman.

A memorial service will take place at Johnson Funeral Home in Moss Bluff on April 28, 2025, starting at 4:00 PM, with a visitation beginning at 3:00 PM.

Bob's huge heart will be greatly missed by those who had the honor and privilege of knowing him.
