Robert Wayne Huckeba

Robert Wayne Huckeba, 74, of Sulphur, LA, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 11, 2021 in his residence.

Mr. Huckeba is survived by his wife of thirty-two years, Vickie Greer Huckeba of Sulphur, LA; children, Kevin Huckeba and wife Katrina of Arnaudville, LA, Shannon Huckeba and girlfriend, Karen Newman of Humble, TX, Lisa Henry and husband Jeremy of Sulphur, John Culbertson of Lenexa, KS and Leigh Culbertson and wife Kathy of League City, TX; grandchildren, Bayleigh Huckeba, Dylan Huckeba and wife Kaitlyn, Kaleb Huckeba and fiancée Reka Perry, Aimee Huckeba, Victoria Henry, Grace Henry, and Ruby Culbertson; and great-granddaughter, Adelynn Huckeba; sister, Donna Verret and husband Donnie of Lake Charles; nephew, Justin Verret; and first wife and mother of two of his sons, Marie Johnson Huckeba.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Hazel Harper Huckeba; and brother, Ken Huckeba.

His memorial service will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at First United Methodist Church.  Reverend Weldon Bares will officiate.  His cremation was entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.  Family and friends will gather on Thursday at the church from 1:30 PM until the start of the service.
