Robert Wayne Miller

Robert Wayne Miller, 65, passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2020 in a local care facility. He was born on December 15, 1954 in Lafayette, LA to Frank, Jr. and Glady Israel Miller.  He was a simple, hard working man who enjoyed Cajun food and watching wrestling.  He was an altar boy, and a member of his High School Band.  He will be remembered as “the class clown.”  He loved laughter, and fun times with his family.

Those left to cherish his memory are, his daughter Mandy Reed (Garland); stepdaughter, Tiffany Hayes (Jaime); stepsons, Joey Jenkins (Vicki), and Jesse Jenkins; his brothers, Donald Miller (Diana), Ronald Miller (Sandy), and Michael Miller; his grandchildren, Morgan, Zechariah, Hunter, Gannon, Raven, Gavin, Kylier, Hanna, Jacob, and Jade; and his great grandchildren, Caroline, and Corlee; and his mother, Glady Maris;

He was preceded in death by his father, and his sisters, Diana James, and Joetta Cart.

His funeral service will be at 6:30 PM Monday, June 29, 2020 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel.  Reverend Marcus Wade will officiate.  Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5:00 PM until the time of the service.  Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home of Lake Charles.
