Roberta Ann Predium Cormier

Roberta Ann Predium Cormier, 78, of Lake Charles, LA, died on Saturday, July 21, 2018 in her residence.

Mrs. Cormier was born April 16, 1940 in Lake Charles, LA, where she was life-long resident. She was a graduate of Washington High School and attended McNeese State University. Mrs. Cormier worked as a CNA at Lake Charles Care Center for a number of years. She was a past member and mother at St. John Baptist Church and attended For His Grace Baptist Church, where she served as an Elder. She enjoyed reading and loved to spend time with her family. She will always be remembered as a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister.

Mrs. Cormier is survived by her children, Linda Cormier of Lake Charles, Victor Cormier and wife Patricia of Lake Charles, Wade Cormier and wife Jennifer of Lake Charles, Lynette Cormier-Pitre and husband Martin of Iowa, LA, and Tim Cormier and wife Belinda of Lake Charles; son at heart, Brian Keith Ned; brother, Charles Predium and wife Sandra of Lake Charles; twenty-nine grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; God-children, Gregory Arceneaux and Rolanda Vital; and numerous very close friends and family

She was preceded in death by her husband, Nelson Matthew Cormier; son, Paul Daniel Cormier; her parents, Earstern and Victoria Predium; and a grandson, Kemah Martin Pitre.

Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Larry Charles Miles will officiate. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:00 AM until the start of the service.
