Rockford Rocky Paul Leger

Rockford Paul "Rocky" Leger, 47, formerly of Lake Charles, LA died in LaPlace, LA.

Mr. Leger was born September 29, 1963 in Lake Charles, LA, where he lived until moving to LaPlace, LA one year ago. He was a graduate of Sam Houston High School and worked as a Journeyman electrician for many years.

Mr. Leger is survived by his parents, Jimmie and Judy (Richard) Leger of Lake Charles; daughter, Rockell Leger of Mauriceville, LA; sister, Tammy (Leger) LaFleur and husband Clint of Holmwood, LA; nieces, Kelly Warner of Bossier City, LA and Sadie Devall and husband Steven of Lake Charles; nephew, Jake Houston LaFleur of Holmwood, LA; three great-nieces; two great-nephews; step-sons, Nick and Caleb Martinez; and step-daughters, Natalie Long and husband Donny.

His funerals service will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday, September 15, 2011 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Jack Cliff will officiate. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00 AM until the start of the service.
