Roger D Smith

 Roger D. Smith, 65, of Sulphur was welcomed into the Kingdom of Heaven on March 10, 2016 at home surrounded by his loving family. Roger was born on September 23, 1950 in Brookhaven, MS to Bracy and Helen Smith, who preceded him in death. He was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew him.

Roger leaves behind his wife of over 46 years, Teresa whom he cherished, his daughters, Jennifer Sonnier and husband Vince and Julie Wall and husband John; his son, Joshua Smith and wife Pamela; his grandchildren, Amanda McCann and husband Johnathan, Austin, Trevor, Abbigayle, Sophie, and Fischer all of Sulphur; his sister,Lucy and 2 brothers, Nicky and Donald; his sister-in-laws; brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 13, 2016 at 4 P.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mel Estes officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 12, 2016 from 3-8 P.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home with visitation continuing on Sunday, March 13, 2016 at 12 noon until time of the service.
