Rogers Gill Lejeune

Rogers Gill LeJeune, 76, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 31, 2016.

Rogers was born in Mamou, LA on August 12, 1939 to Cyuse and Lilly Vezina LeJeune. He graduated from Mamou High School in 1959 and has lived in Lake Charles, LA for the past 53 years. Rogers worked in the grocery industry for most of his life, retiring from the Kroger Company and was a member of St. Margaret Catholic Church.

Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory are his wife of 53 years, Dorothy Fontenot LeJeune of Lake Charles, LA; 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Peter and Amy Joy LeJeune of Birmingham, AL, Tim and Naomi LeJeune of Lake Charles, LA; daughter, Hope LeJeune of Kingwood, TX; sister, Everna Runnels of Mamou, LA; 2 brothers, Jasper LeJeune of Franklin, LA and Charles LeJeune of Eunice, LA; sister-in-law, Janet LeJeune of Franklin, LA and 6 grandchildren.

Funeral Mass will be conducted 1PM Monday, April 4, 2016 at St. Margaret Catholic Church in Lake Charles, LA. Visitation with the family will be on Monday from 10AM till 12 noon at Johnson Funeral Home with a Rosary at 12 noon. Interment to follow in Consolata Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers family request donations be made to St. Margaret Catholic School.
