Rogers Louis Simon

Rogers Louis Simon, 91passed away on March 20, 2014 in his residence. Rogers worked as a game warden at Sabine Wildlife Refuge in Cameron Parish. He was a great outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish.

Rogers is survived by his three sons, Bryant Simon and wife, Kathleen, Larry Simon and wife, Grace and Jim Simon and wife, Cathy; 12 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his wife, Magdelene Simon; son, Kenneth Simon; parents, Ophie and Claonie Simon; 1 grandchild and 2 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at 11 a.m. at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Hackberry with Rev. Rommel Tolentino officiating. Burial will be in New Hackberry Cemetery in Hackberry under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 21, 2014 from 4-8 p.m. at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church with a rosary at 6 p.m. and will resume on Saturday at 9 a.m. until time of the service.
