Romona Williams, 75, of Sulphur, LA died on April 14, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Romona was born on December 21, 1949, in Opelousas, LA to Lawrence and Lorraine Quebedeaux. She liked spending time outdoors, planting flowers and fishing. Romona loved being around family and friends, especially working as a beautician for 38 years and 33 years owning and operating The Boiling Point working alongside her family and the love of her life. The highlights and joys of her life were her grandchildren and dogs.
She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, John Henry Williams; loving daughters, Lori Quelle and husband Harley of Sulphur, LA and Lanie Johnston and husband Ryan of Lake Charles, LA; 5 grandchildren, Madeline, Jagger, Cohen, Chloe, and George; two sisters, Julie Calias and Missy Alexander; one brother, Keith Quebedeaux.
She is preceded in death by her parents and one grandson, Garit Morrison.
A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11:00 AM Monday, April 21, 2025, at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church in Carlyss, LA. Visitation will begin on Monday at 10:00 AM until rosary at 10:30 AM following Mass at 11:00 AM on Monday April 21, 2025. Burial will be at Mimosa Pines South under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home of Sulphur, LA. Fr. Sibi Kunninu, M.S. will officiate services.
