Ronald Daniels

Ronald Daniels, 69, of Lake Charles, LA died Thursday, August 6, 2015 in a local hospital surrounded by his loving family. Ronald was born on September 28, 1945 in Gallaway , Missouri to Elmer and Edith Daniels. He loved spending time with family and friends. He also enjoyed horses, motorcycles, and fishing. Ronald was a member of the VFW North side post in Moss Bluff, LA. Ronald comes from a long line of military and proudly served our country in the Vietnam War. He is survived by his loving wife of 13 years, Melanie Daniels of Lake Charles, LA; three children, Ronne Daniels, Anthony Daniels, and Theresa Daniels all of California; three step children, Cabin Lawson, Coby Lawson, and Cynara Welch all of Missouri; six siblings, Gary Daniels, Marie Harrison, Vera Harrison, Ada Humble, Linda Newberry, and Rita Holt; grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by one brother, Allie Daniels; two brother in laws, Jeff Holt and Roscoe Harrison; and his loving parents. Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at Friendship Baptist Church in Lake Charles, LA. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm at Friendship Baptist Church. Burial will be at Friendship Baptist Cemetery.
