Ronald Joseph Guillory

Ronald Joseph Guillory, 61, passed away on October 2, 2024 in Opelousas.

Ronald was a native and longtime resident of the Lake Charles area. He was a graduate of Lake Charles High School and, following graduation, worked for F. Miller and Sons Construction for a number of years. Ronald was a free spirited individual, who enjoyed traveling from place to place, but never really settled in one place for long. Ronald was of the Catholic faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Freddie and Ivy Fontenot Guillory, and a brother, Timothy Guillory. He leaves to honor and cherish his memories, his son, Quentin Guillory, Atlanta, Georgia; sisters, Veronica Clophus and husband Herbert, Sulphur; Catherine Papillion and husband Glenn, Lafayette, Louisiana; Elizabeth Lemonier, Lake Charles, Louisiana; Samatha Broussard and husband James, Lake Charles, Louisiana and Genevia Coward and husband Jimmy, Spring Hill, Tennessee as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family of the heart.

A gathering of family and friends will begin at 10:00 on Monday, October 14, 2024 and will conclude with a Memorial Service to be held at 11:00 AM at Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff. Inurnment will be immediately after services at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Lake Charles.
