Ronald J. Thibodeaux

Ronald James Thibodeaux, 67, passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2020, in a local hospice care facility.  He was born on February 21, 1953 in Lake Charles, LA, to Richard and Mary Louviere Thibodeaux.  He was a 1972 graduate of Lake Charles High School.  He loved music, and was an accomplished guitar player and singer.  He started out playing in a garage with Charles Mann and Randall Melancon.  He dearly loved his grandchildren, especially Taegan.  He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish his memory are, his beloved wife of fifteen years, Beth Anne Burleson Thibodeaux; his son Eric Douglas Thibodeaux (Kristy) of Lake Charles; stepchildren, Eric Keith Leger; and Amie Danielle Vines (Jacob) both of Sulphur, LA; his grandchildren, Alyssa Denay Leger, Aubrey Danielle Leger, David Ulysses Cruz, Jaden Keith Darbonne, and Taegan Rae Young; and his brother, Richard Joseph Thibodeaux.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Michael Joseph Thibodeaux.

His funeral service will be at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel.  Deacon Tony Pousson will officiate.  Burial will follow at Broussard Cemetery in Lacassine, LA under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home of Lake Charles.  Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service, with a rosary being recited at 10:00 AM.
