Ronald James Fontenot

Ronald James Fontenot, of Westlake, passed away peacefully, Saturday May, 12, 2018, at Landmark Nursing Home.

Ronald was a native of Ville Platte, LA and a longtime resident of Westlake. He was an excellent mechanic and enjoyed woodturning and sitting outside on his swing. He was a member of St. John Bosco Catholic Church of Westlake.

Those left to honor and cherish his memory are his children, Ronnie Fontenot and wife Carla, Westlake, Donnie Fontenot, Sulphur, Gary Fontenot and wife Angela, Griffin, GA, Sharon Fontenot and husband Chris, Lake Charles, and Angela Caston and husband John, Denham Springs; 9 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Lillian Fontenot, Vidrine, and Wonier Joy Savoy, LeBleu Settlement, as well as many nieces and nephews and extended family.

Visitation for friends and family will be at Johnson Funeral Home, Thursday, May 17, 2018, at 9:00 AM with a Rosary to be recited at 10:00 AM. Graveside inurnment services will immediately follow at Consolata Cemetery.
