Ronald Joseph Vezinat

Ronald Joseph Vezinat, 76, of Lake Charles, LA, died at 11:25 AM on Tuesday, August 13, 2019 in a local hospital surrounded by his family.

Born August 16, 1942 in Lafayette, LA, Mr. Vezinat was raised in Mamou, LA and lived most of his adult life in Lake Charles. He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corp from 1959 to 1963. He worked in the oil field most of his life with Welex, Halliburton, Computer Log, and retired from Gray Wireline. Mr. Vezinat loved spending time outdoors, hunting, fishing, and working in his workshop.

Mr. Vezinat is survived by his wife of seven years, Connie Vezinat; daughters, Tammy Breaux and husband Darrin, Tina Marie Dallas, and Theresa Stokes and husband Patrick; son, Ryan Vezinat; sister, Diane Sanders and husband Butch; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and his beloved dog, Scooby.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Bridgette Vezinat; brothers, Wilbur and Herbert Vezinat; sister, Barbara Doucet; and a grandson, Justin Breaux.

His cremation was entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.
