Ronald "Ronnie" Ray Anderson, Jr.

Ronald (Ronnie) Ray Anderson, Jr., 43, of Mittie, passed away suddenly on Saturday May 26, 2018 in Burlington, Kansas.

 

Ronnie Ray was a native of Lake Charles and longtime resident of Mittie. He was a graduate of Fairview High School, coach with little league baseball and softball, and above all, a Christian. Ronnie Ray worked all over the country as an electrician in the construction of nuclear power plants. He had been working in Kansas for the past five years, were his family moved to be closer to him. Family was very important to Ronnie Ray and he enjoyed entertaining others with his sense of humor and contagious personality. Behind only for his love of God and his family, Ronnie Ray was a passionate outdoorsman, and enjoyed fishing and hunting of all kinds.

 

Preceding Ronnie Ray in death are his parents, Ronald Ray (Sr.) and Judy Ann Bertrand Anderson. He is survived by his beloved wife of 23 years, Dana Lynn Young Anderson; three children, Madison Ann Anderson, McKinley Kathleen Anderson and Maverick Ray Anderson, and his mother and father in law, Ogal and Kathleen Young; all of Mittie; sisters, Tonda Anderson, Tina Anderson Newman and Rhonda Anderson Blanchard (Bruce); all of Lake Charles and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

 

Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM on Friday June 1, 2018 at the Pentecostals of Mittie. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 AM at the church with Brother Ricky Kennon officiating. Graveside services will be at 3:00 PM on Saturday June 2, 2018 at Consolata Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home of Lake Charles.

 

Serving as pallbearers will be Charlie Hunter, Ryan Ray Blanchard, Taylor Blanchard, Cody Reeves, Kenny Morris, Ogal Young and Davin Young.
