Ronald “Ronny” Felix Foster, 59, of Sulphur, LA, passed away on Friday, August 3, 2018 in a local hospital.

 

Mr. Foster was born October 2, 1958 in Sulphur, LA, where he lived most of his life. He was a 1976 graduate of Sulphur High School, where he played the trumpet in the Golden Tors Marching Band. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy on the Submarine Force. Mr. Foster worked as an operator in the local refineries for over twenty years. He had a great love for his three beautiful girls, greatly adored them, and was always proud to call them his.

 

Mr. Foster is survived by his three daughters, Veronica Midkiff and husband Jesse of Austin, TX, Valerie Fontenot and husband Logan of Lake Charles, and Katherine Foster of Sulphur; and brothers, George “Randy” Foster of Lake Charles and Fred Yawn Foster and wife Gwen of DeRidder, LA.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, George “Buddy” and Glorene Foster.

 

To honor his military service, the U.S. Navy will perform a committal ceremony as his ashes are buried at sea. The family will have a private memorial at a later date.
