Ronald Edward Stockman Sr. died Saturday Oct. 9, 2010 at his residence in Del Valle, Tx .

Born to Harlon and Jeanette Stockman May, 22, 1964, he served his country with 4 years of active service in the United States Army. After an honorable discharge from the military, Ron earned a Bachelors degree of Science in Nursing from McNeese. For the past 10 years Ron served as a Registered Nurse at the VA in Austin , Tx .

Left to cherish his memories are his wife Roanne Stockman of Del Valle, Tx. his children Ronald Edward Stockman II of New Orleans, and Marie Stockman of Lake Charles, his parents Jeanette Stockman of Lake Charles and Harlon S. Stockman of Topsy, Siblings: Harlon D. Stockman of Oakdale, Dinah Stockman of Topsy, Jenniffer Hidalgo of Topsy, Brenda Bevil and husband James of Carlyss, Gary Stockman of Lake Charles, twins: Kristy and Christopher Stockman of Topsy, and numerous nieces and nephews.

His funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 14, 2010, at Johnson Funeral Home, 4321 Lake Street, Lake Charles. Visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning on Wednesday from 3PM until 8PM and again on Thursday, from 8 AM until service time. Mr. Stockman will be cremated following the services.
