Rosaline Ms. Rose Lafleur

Rosaline "Ms Rose" LaFleur, 73, of Moss Bluff passed away at 3:15 PM, Friday, March 23, 2012 in a local hospital.Ms Rose was born in Plaisance, LA and lived in the Lake Charles/Moss Bluff area for over fifty years. She retired from the Calcasieu Parish School Board after many years of service. Ms Rose loved the outdoors and cooking for her family. She enjoyed playing Bingo and spending time and spoiling her grandchildren.She is survived by her daughter Marlene LaFleur; one son Billy J. LaFleur and his wife Pam all of Moss Bluff; two grandchildren Jodi LaFleur Moore and Caleb J. LaFleur; one great granddaughter Adalynn Isabel Moore; one brother Raymond J. Fontenot and two sisters Anna Lee Saucier and Gerry Pitre and her loving pet dog Papoose. She was preceded in death by her husband Lionel LaFleur.Her funeral will be Monday, March 26, 2012 at 3:00 PM in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Terry Ardizzone will officiate. Burial will be in Old Ritchie Cemetery. Visitation on Sunday will be from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM and continue on Monday from 9:00 AM until time of service.
