Rose Ann Guillory Comeaux

Rose Ann Guillory Comeaux, 70, of Ragley, LA, passed away at 7:32 AM on Friday, March 25, 2022 in her residence.

Mrs. Comeaux as born August 2, 1951 in Lake Charles, LA, where she lived until moving to Ragley in 1974.  She attended Immaculate Conception Catholic School, graduated from Marion High School and attended McNeese State University.  She was a past member of First Baptist Church of Gillis and First Church Moss Bluff, but most recently was a member of Magnolia Baptist Church in Ragley.  Mrs. Comeaux worked as a cashier for various places throughout the years and sold Avon.  She enjoyed making jewelry and watching TV, but her passion in life was always for her family and her grandchildren.

Mrs. Comeaux is survived by her husband of fifty years, Donald J. “Cosmo” Comeaux, Sr. of Ragley; sons, Gregory Paul Comeaux of Evans, CO and Jonathan Michael Comeaux and wife Kelly of DeRidder, LA; step-sons, Donald J. Comeaux, Jr., Willis Comeaux, and Douglas Julian Comeaux, all of Ragley; sister, Margaret Elizabeth Bass of Gillis; twelve grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Mary Guillory; infant son, David Michael Comeaux; step-daughter, Roseanne Lynn Charron; and brother, Stephen Guillory, Sr.

Her funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff.  Reverend David Veillon will officiate.  Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery in Lake Charles.  Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and continue on Wednesday from 8:30 AM until the start of the service.
