Rose Marie Campbell

Rose Marie Campbell of Sulphur, LA passed away on Friday, June 5, 2020. She was 79 years old.

Born May 12, 1941 in Kaplan, Rose was the 7th of 9 children born to Joseph and Marie Picard Campbell. Rose found her calling in life as a devoted caregiver and companion to her beloved sister Myrtis. Her unconditional and sacrificial love toward her sister was a beautiful picture of Jesus to all who knew them. She found many ways and opportunities in which to display her feisty character and adventurous spirit. Many of her stories belong in the record books, but will not be detailed in this writing.

Rose was preceded in death by her son, Brent Campbell, 3 sisters and 4 brothers. She is survived by her sister, Verna Cotton, of Jinx, OK, daughter Crystal Roy of Houston, TX, Grandson Wesley Campbell, and several nieces.

A Rosary and service will be held at 10AM, Wednesday, June 10, 2020 in Johnson and Robison Funeral Home of Sulphur.  

In this life, Rose experienced many difficult trials and challenges but, by the grace of God, she was never alone. To the many friends and compassionate caregivers who walked with Rose throughout her journey, Thank You. You are all loved and appreciated more than you can know.
