Funeral services for Rose Spears,54, of Sulphur, will be held at 10am, Tuesday, June 29, 2010 in Robison Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Steve Shirley will officiate. Burial will follow in Saint John Cemetery, Laccassine, Louisiana. Visitation will begin on Monday, June 28, 2010, from 5pm-9pm and on Tuesday from 8am until time of service. Mrs. Spears passed away on Friday, June 25, 2010 in Sulphur, Louisiana. Rose was a native and life long resident of Sulphur, Louisana. She was a beloved homemaker. Survivors: 2 sons, Brian Spears of DeQuincy, La. Cody Allen of Sulphur, La.; 4 sisters: Joyce Marcandant of Starks, La., Gladys Franks and husband Stephen of Lake Charles, La., Mary Taylor and husband Timothy of Sulphur, La., Evelyn Navarre and husband Mark of Sulphur, La.; 4 brothers: Thomas Spears and wife Phyllis of Ragley, La., Raymond Spears and wife Becky of Westlake, La., Mervin Spears of Lake Charles, La., Joe Spears of Oceansprings, Miss. Preceded in death by her parents Mary Spears Dowler, Emimitt Spears and one brother Howard Spears.
