Roy Louis Benoit, born Feb 6, 1948 in Lake Charles to Joseph A. Benoit and Pearl J. Benoit.

Loving brother to Mildred, Dorothy and Lealand. Father to Jessie Benoit, Angela Benoit, Briggette Benoit Quick, Bethany Benoit, Roy Louis Aaron Benoit, James Hebert, Susie Thibodeaux, Frank Quick. Grandfather to twenty-four grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. Loving uncle to all his nieces and nephews. The love of his life Carolyn Sue Benoit, they met may 1, 1976, fell in love and married Saturday, November 5, 1977.

He graduated from Marion High School in 1966. He began working at Firestone Polymer in 1970 and remained there until his retirement.

He went to be with the Lord Saturday, November 18, 2023, passing peacefully from this life with all his loved ones around him.

He built the first chopper motorcycle in Lake Charles at fifteen. He never met a stranger and was always there to help anyone in anyway he could. He loved his Cajun French heritage, Elvis, Hummingbirds, gardening, cutting grass, the park, his country and stood with Isreal, loved his family, but most importantly, he loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

We will miss you, but never forget you. We hold you in our hearts, see you soon sweetheart, dad, and we love you with all our hearts.
