Ruby Greenwood

Ruby Greenwood, 81, passed away on Friday, August 29, 2014. Private family services will be held at a later date. Cremation is under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Ruby lived in the Sulphur area most of her life. She, along with her husband, owned and operated Greenwood Pack a Bag Grocery. She was a former member of Faith Temple. She was an active member of the Sulphur Senior Center and loved to play bingo. Ruby was very well known as "Granny" from all the children in Sulphur who knew her. Ruby is survived by her daughter, Leslie (David) Arno and her son, Donald E. (Vickie) Greenwood; her brother, Robert Vatter; grandchildren, Lindsey (Gabriel) Chapa, Courtney (Talon) Templet, Donald W. (Hollie) and Bridgett (fiancé', Kyle Gunn) Greenwood; and five great grandchildren. Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, Jordon (Don) Greenwood.
