Ruby Lee Binford, 70 passed away on February 5, 2014 in a local hospital. She was a loving mother, and grandmother who enjoyed taking care of her children, nieces, nephews and the neighbor kids. Ruby enjoyed the sport of deer hunting. Ruby is survived by her husband, Dennis Binford of Sulphur; three sons, Glenn Binford and wife, Lindy of Toledo Bend, Larry Binford and fiance, Rebecca Robinson of Sulphur and Chris Binford and wife, Dina of Sulphur; 2 granddaughters, Haley Vercher and Hannah Binford; 2 grandsons, Colby Ganssle of Ft. Polk and Dillon Binford; sister, JoAnn Trahan; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd leBlanc, Sr. and Mable Lavroette LeBlanc; sister, Mary Lou Davis; brother, Floyd Red LeBlanc, Jr.; daughter-in-law, Debra Diane Binford; and nephew, Billy LeBlanc. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 9, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randall Chesson. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery in Carlyss under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 8, 2014 from 2-8 p.m. at the funeral home and will resume on Sunday at 9 a.m. until time of the service. In lieu of flowers donation may be made to the Salvation Army or United Way.
