Ruby Louise Plummer

Ruby Plummer finished her earthly journey Monday November 11, 2013 at Resthaven Nursing Home in Lake Charles, LA. She was a member of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church and Our Lady of LaSalette Catholic Daughters. Ruby was born January 20, 1932 in Church Point, LA. to Theogene (Dago) Richard and Hilda Wills Richard. She married the love of her life, Henry Elton Plummer, May 21, 1949 in Orange, Texas. From their union three sons were born; Kenneth Eugene Plummer, Terry Wade Plummer & Dennis Keith Plummer. Survivors are one son, Dennis Plummer of Sulphur and sister, Betty Richard Bellow of Longwood, Florida; three grandchildren Terry Wayne Plummer, Jesse L. Plummer and Keith Reed Plummer and four great-grandchildren. Ruby was predeceased by her husband, two sons Kenneth and Terry, two brothers, Jimmy and Theo Richard and one sister Emma Lee (Tiny) Richard Murphy. Visitation will be at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home in Sulphur Friday, November 15, 2013 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. with a Cursillo Rosary at 6 p.m. and will resume at 10 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Saturday, November 16, 2013. A mass of Christian burial will be at 1 p.m. at Our Lady of Prompt Succor with burial following at Nibletts Bluff Cemetery.
