Ruby Zeller

Ruby Ruth Zeller, 91, was called by our Lord to eternal rest on July 24, 2016.

Ms. Zeller was born April 25, 1925 in Frost, TX to the late Thomas and Effie Wright. Ms. Ruby was a hairdresser in New Orleans at John Jay Salons and at Marriot French Quarter. Ms Zeller is most remembered for sharing the Word of God with others. Her loves were, in this order: the Lord, her children, and ice cream.

Ms. Ruby was preceded in death by her father, Thomas William Wright; mother, Effie Mae Golden; daughter Tommie Daigle Yentzen; and grand daughter, Angela Daigle.

Those left to cherish her memory are daughter, Doris Almany and her husband, Don of Lake Charles; four grandchildren, Thomas Flow of Houston, Cheryl Gaspard, Johnathan Daigle, and Kevin Woods all of lake Charles; three great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.

Her funeral service will be held at 10AM on Thursday July 28, 2016 at Johnson Funeral Home in Lake Charles. Rev. Randy Edwards will officiate.  Burial will follow at Consolata Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5PM to 8PM Wednesday July 27, 2016 at Johnson Funeral Home.
