Russell Nolan Landry

Russell Nolan Landry, 59 of Vinton, LA., passed away on August 11, 2022, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.  Russell was born on July 4, 1963, to Raywood and Elma Lou Landry. 

Russell was a hard working and was devoted to his family and friends.  He enjoyed fishing and working with his hands and especially working on cars with his brother Robert.  Russell always said that BBQing was an art and yes, he was good at it.  He enjoyed listening to all types of music while looking to the sky for his favorite bird the Bald Eagle.  Russell loved spending time with his grandkids Adilynn Grace and Daken Jackson.

Russell is survived by his loving life-long companion Christine West; daughter, Abby McCartney and husband Austin; son, Steven Landry and finance’ DeeAndra Johnson; brother, Robert Landry; grandchildren Adilynn Grace McCartney, Daken Jackson Clark and on the way baby Daniel Nolan Landry.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Raywood and Elma Lou Landry; sister, Sara Ann Landry; brother, and Elwood Ray Landry.

Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson and Robison Funeral Home of Sulphur, LA.
