Ruth LeBleu Duhon, 83, born June 23, 1928 of LeBleu Settlement, LA, died April 24, 2012 in Lake Charles, LA.
Her parents are Martin Skeem and Virginia LeBleu of LeBleu Settlement. She worked at LeBlanc Cafe' for fifteen years, owned the Corner Cafe' for six years, worked for Crown Parking for ten years, and was a CNA for Lake Charles Care Center for two years.
She is survived by five daughters, Pat Boutwell of Sargeant, TX, Marie Menard and husband Vince of Lake Charles, Jean Beavers and husband Frank of LeBleu Settlement, Armentine Leger and husband E.J. of LeBleu Settlement, and Pam LeBlanc of Lake Charles; five sons, Tommy Primeaux and wife Sonya of LeBleu, Linden Primeaux of Sulphur, Richard Primeaux and wife Cindy of Bell City, David LeBlanc and wife Carol of Lake Charles, and Willis LeBlanc of Topsy; thirty grandchildren; eighty-four great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Clyde and Andrew LeBleu; son, Ray Primeaux; grandchildren, Robbie Boudreaux and Scottie Watkins; and husband, Harold Duhon.
Her funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, April 27, 2012 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Chris Fuselier will officiate. Burial will follow in LeBleu Cemetery in Chloe, LA. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and continue on Friday from 8:00 AM until the start of the service.
Pallbearers for the service will be Wayne Beavers, Jody Fisher, Chris and Sam Kershaw, Cory Northrop, and D.J. LeBlanc. Honorary pallbearers will be Shannon Primeaux, Bobby Watkins, and T.J. Primeaux.
