Sandi Breaux

March 1, 1963 — July 5, 2023

Sandra Ann (Ducky) Breaux, 60, of Lacassine, passed away suddenly on Wednesday July 5 in Lake Charles.

Ducky was a native and life-long resident of the Lake area. She proudly served as a department manager at the Wal-Mart Super Center on the Bayou. Previously she was a representative at Insurance Unlimited. Ducky will be most remembered for her positive outlook as well as her kind and compassionate heart for others and the deep love that she had for her family. Her grandchildren gave her true joy and she loved every second that she spent with them.

Those left to celebrate her life are her mother, Trudy Richard Breaux; daughter, Leila (Trinidad) Arredondo; son, Daniel (Allyson) Breaux; grandchildren: Phillip Arredondo, Eleanor Breaux, Brooks Breaux, and another Breaux (arriving soon!); siblings, Renee Breaux and Danny (Wanda) Breaux; special niece and nephew Sarah (Tommy) Monroe and Evan Breaux as well as many cousins and extended family of the heart.

Preceding Ducky in death are her father, Robert C. Breaux and grandchildren, Mila Arredondo and infant Breaux.

Visitation will be on Monday July 10, 2023 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 306 Ann St., Lacassine, LA, 70650, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. A Rosary will be recited at 1:00 PM, followed at 2:00 PM by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated by the Very Rev. Reuben Buller. Burial will follow at Lacassine Catholic Cemetery, all under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home of Lake Charles.

The family requests donations be made in memory of their beloved Ducky to St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.
