Sandra Wescott Schulz

August 13, 1944 — October 1, 2022

Sandra McDonald Wescott Schulz was born in Lake Charles on August 13, 1944.  She worked at Lakeside National Bank for 18 years as Bookkeeping Supervisor and 16 years at First Federal Bank as Record Retention Coordinator.

Those left to cherish her memory are, her daughter, Shari Wescott David (Alvin) of Lake Charles; her grandchildren, Kristina Johnston (Kyle) of Tipton, Iowa, Ross Key, III (Ashton) and Rachel Mahoney (Tyler) of Lake Charles; three great grandsons, Brody and Kayden Johnston of Tipton, Iowa and Jaxon and Axell Mahoney of Lake Charles; one great granddaughter, Isabelle Key of Lake Charles; her sisters, Mary Chapman (Rod) of Conroe, TX, Grace Foster (Terry) of Florien, LA, Ethel Chapman of Conroe, TX and Brenda Hardy of Many, LA; her stepchildren, Karen Lambert (Derek) of Weaverville, NC; her step-grandchildren, Alicia White of Livingston, TN, Haylee Lambert of Weaverville, NC, Jimmy and Jamison Schulz of Greenville, SC; and a step-great grandson, Jack White of Livingston, TN; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bruce McDonald and Ida McDonald Boutte; the father of her children, Barney S. Wescott, III; her son, Barney S. Wescott IV; and her husband, James A. Schulz, Sr.

Her funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Thursday, October 6, 2022 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel.  Rev. Tim Mahoney will officiate.  Burial will follow in Consolata Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home.  Visitation will be at the funeral home from 11:00 AM until the start of the service at 1:00 PM.
