Sarah Ann Henry, 34, of Cameron passed away at 8:50 PM, Wednesday, August 29, 2012 in a local hospital.
Sarah was a native and life resident of Cameron Parish. She was a graduate of South Cameron High School and Louisiana Tech University. Sarah will be remembered as a people person, a giver of courage and strength, both of which she possessed in quantities enough to share. She knew no strangers; and had a way of getting people to open up, to share and to be more to themselves and the people around them. Her love for her family was extra ordinary and her love for her adopted family and those that chose to adopt Sarah into their families was just as important. Sarah loved her godchildren as if they were her own. She was an avid outdoors person, athlete, horsewoman, and hunter, but her favorite was; CRABBIN! She was always meddling and joking, always cooking or changing a recipe she saw on the food network and demanding you try it first.
Sarah grew up in a household of love and sharing. She came into this world with extended family waiting on her and caring for her. When you think of Sarah, please remember her love of life and her wishes and prayers for all of you to love each other and share your lives and prayers for those you love.
Her work at the Louisiana Methodist Children's Home reflected her need to care for those who needed something extra.
