Sarah Crawford Rutherford

Sarah Crawford Rutherford, 52, passed away on June 5, 2011, in a local hospital. Funeral Services will be held Friday, June 10, 2011at11 a.m.in Robison Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Randy Edwards will officiate. Burial will be in Dutch Cove Cemetery in Sulphur under the direction of Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 9, 2011from 4-9p.m. at the funeral home and will resume on Friday at 8a.m. until time of service. Sarah was a native of Bridge City and a longtime resident of Sulphur moving to Lake Charles in 1999. She was a graduate of Sulphur High School. After graduating she attended Lamar University. She worked as a secretary for over 30 years. Sarah is survived by her husband, Randy Rutherford of Lake Charles, two daughters, Rachelle and Ashley Quinn both of Lake Charles, son, Shawn LeBrun of Lake Charles, four brothers, Johnny Crawford of Carlyss, George Crawford of Dallas, TX., Doug Crawford and Bobby Crawford both of Sulphur, two sisters, Jackie Thurman of Bridge City, TX., and Betsy Anderson of Lake Charles, five grandchildren and numerous other nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, George E. Crawford and Lois Willard and a brother, David Crawford.
