Sarah Elizabeth Rozas

Sarah Elizabeth Spoor Rozas, 64, of Lake Charles passed away at 6:32 AM, Friday, July 30, 2010 in her residence.

She was a native of Fenton and a graduate of Fenton High School, and lived most of her life in Lake Charles. Mrs. Rozas worked for Bayou Reproduction, the Jim Wise Agency, West Calcasieu Cameron Hospital, St. Patrick Hospital, The Clinic, and Radiology Associates. She was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church.

She is survived by her husband, Mathew A. Rozas; son, Mark Anthony Rozas and wife Kendee; daughter, Tricia Denise Martinez and husband Dr. Richard Martinez all of Lake Charles; four grandchildren, Colby Austin Rozas, Logan, Lindsey, and Lance Martinez; one brother, Jerry Spoor and wife Linda of Leesville, LA; two sisters, Sharon Spoor, Nadine Owens and husband Richard, and her mother, Lillie Spoor all of Shreveport, LA. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Spoor.

Her funeral will be at 10:00 AM, Monday, August 2, 2010 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Deacon Glenn Viau will officiate. Burial will be in Consolata Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM, Sunday, with a Cursillo Rosary at 6:30 PM and continue from 8:00 AM until time of service, Monday, in the funeral home.
