Sarah Smith

Sarah (Sally) P. Smith, 59, passed away at a local hospital on Tuesday, May 15, 2018.

She was born in Lake Charles to Jack and Sarah Perkins on July 19, 1958. She will be remembered for her love for her family, her devotion to her job, and her heart of gold (especially for her grandbabies). She was loved and respected by all of her co-workers in the medical care field and all who knew her. She enjoyed traveling, shopping, and going to the beach. She recently became happily engaged and will be missed by all who knew her.

Those left to cherish her memory include her fiancé, Leonard Stelly; sons, William Donald Smith (Kelli) and Matthew Paul Smith (Amber); grandchildren, Ember Rain and Kadi Belle; brother, David Perkins (Christi) of Houston, TX; sisters, Jackie Perkins (Scott), Marla Perkins, Margaret Lambert (her BFF); and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Debby Perkins.

Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home. A gathering of friends and family to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 3 PM at Johnson Funeral Home.
