Savanah Paige Nelson

Savanah Paige Nelson, 24, of Carlyss passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 in Westlake.

Savanah was born on January 23, 1995 in Lake Charles where she lived all of her life. She took pride in caring for her two babies who she loved whole heartedly. Savanah made every day adventurous and will be remembered for her sense of humor and her giving and selfless attitude. She was a survivor who fought her battles daily.

Those left to cherish her memory are her two babies, Olivia Grace and Noah Anthony Cash Badon both of Carlyss; her mother, Jennifer Fruge of Carlyss; siblings, Candace Lee of Carlyss, Gabriella Acosta (Bernard, III) of San Angelo, TX, Devon Lee of Carlyss, and Rachel Trahan (Blake) of Lake Charles; maternal grandmother, Shirley R. Broussard of Moss Bluff; maternal grandfather, Timothy W. Nelson, Sr. (Laura) of Moss Bluff; Godfather, Timothy Nelson, II (Iris) of Moss Bluff; Godmother, Victoria Ketenbrink (Kelly) of Vinton; a special aunt, Michelle Baxter of Georgia; and father of her children, Kaine Badon of Carlyss and his grandparents, Penny and Keith Courville of Carlyss.

She was preceded in death by both of her fathers, Joshua Ramsey and Paul Lee; and paternal great grandmother, Bernice Blanchette.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, October 25, 2019 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will begin on Friday from 12:00 PM until the start of the service. A cremation will follow the service.
